What's new at Valkyrie Computer Services?
Valkyrie Computer Services is currently designing and implementing a Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2010 farm and portal for a local government's consolidation effort of its various office locations.
This solution is providing a single, integrated platform to manage intranet, extranet, and Internet applications across the enterprise.
VCS is also actively merging and cleaning data from an AS400, Avaya VoIP phone system and MS Active Directory to MS SQL Server 2008 R2 for data validation and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Active Directory Service Itegration (ADSI).
VCS has concurrently completed an IT infrastructure upgrade of a local non-profit organization's main and branch offices. This project has connected these offices in a site-to-site (hub and spoke) VPN configuration propagating the Microsoft Active Directory domain to existing and future satellite offices.
This project was designed to scale up for future growth, used as much existing hardware as possible and was completed under the allocated budget.
VCS is also providing ongoing techincal support for LICADD employees and domain maintenance on a low cost, monthly flat rate.
